Arkansas Fencing Academy

The Arkansas Fencing Academy offers a wide range of training programs ranging from beginning classes to individualized instruction. If you'd like to sign up for a class or join our club contact us.

Group Beginning Package

The beginning package covers basic concepts such as how to properly grip the foil, footwork (advance, retreat), parries, and attacks. Classes meet once per week (Wednesdays from 5pm - 6pm) and last 6 weeks. After the 6 week classes are complete, students may practice in the club up to 3 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights) for two weeks.

Individual Membership Fees

Individual membership fees are $40/mo. Membership fees include club dues, floor fees, use of the club facilities, and use of club equipment. Discounts are offered for families and for 6 or 12 month commitments.

Members may use club equipment such as foils, epees, body cords, etc as part of their monthly membership fees. However, members are responsible for replacing any equipment that they break. Refer to the chart below for fees for broken club equipment.
